We acknowledge and pay respect to the Malak Malak people past, present and future as the traditional custodians and Elders of this land our school stands on and the continuation of their cultural, spiritual and educational practices
Ancestors have walked this country and we acknowledge their special and unique place in our nation’s historical, cultural and linguistic identity.
I am very privileged to be the Principal of this wonderful school in this beautiful community working with dedicated staff as well as vibrant and talented students. Having been fortunate to have worked in different Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community schools in Northern Queensland and the Torres Strait it has been wonderful to experience what the Northern Territory has to offer. Residing in a small, remote community such as Nauiyu presents interesting challenges and provides many blessings.
